The Sundance Co-op was built in 1978 and has developed into a strong and financially secure community. We have fifty-nine 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom townhouses and ten units in duplexes and fourplexes; four units are wheelchair accessible. Add to that: Sundance Place: a brand new (2009) 9-unit complex for 55+. There are generally between 80 and 100 members. As a community, Sundance recognizes and strives to realize International Co-operative values of self-help, self-responsibility, equality and solidarity, as well as principles of:

  • Voluntary and Open Membership
  • Democratic Member Control
  • Member Participation
  • Autonomy and Independence
  • Education, Training and Information
  • Co-operation among Co-operatives
  • Concern for Community

Sundance founders were inspired by a vision of sensible and affordable housing, environmental responsibility, and a nurturing community for its members. That vision lives on today.
