Home
The Sundance Co-op was built in 1978 and has developed into a strong and financially secure community. We have fifty-nine 2, 3, 4 and 5 bedroom townhouses and ten units in duplexes and fourplexes; four units are wheelchair accessible. Add to that a brand new (2009) 9-unit Senior’s complex. There are generally between 80 and 100 members. As a community, Sundance recognizes and strives to realize International Co-operative values of self-help, self-responsibility, equality and solidarity, as well as principles of:
- Voluntary and Open Membership
- Democratic Member Control
- Member Participation
- Autonomy and Independence
- Education, Training and Information
- Co-operation among Co-operatives
- Concern for Community
Sundance founders were inspired by a vision of sensible and affordable housing, environmental responsibility, and a nurturing community for its members. That vision lives on today.
